Finally, there's also a hybrid option, combining a 1.8L gas engine with dual electric motors to give a total output of 121 horsepower. As you'd expect, the hybrid delivers great fuel economy figures, with 4.4L / 100km in the city and 4.5L / 100km on the highway.
Infotainment
The Corolla is fitted with an 7" or 8" infotainment touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot capability with optional subscription. The touchscreen is supported by a range of knobs and buttons that make eyes-off, tactile control of the major functions easier while driving.
Higher trim levels add options including wireless charging, integrated navigation, and an enhanced nine-speaker JBL audio system.
Safety Features
The 2020 Corolla achieved a five-star safety rating in crash tests for both the hatchback and sedan versions, and it's expected that the 2021 model will match those results once tests are completed.
